Emmanuel Upstate is a reformed, bilingual and multi-ethnic church in the upstate of South Carolina, established for the glory of God. Come join us  to worship the Lord with a diverse community united in Christ! You are welcome if you know the Bible well, or if you’ve never opened it; if you speak multiple languages, or just one; if you were born and raised in this country, or if you just arrived yesterday. We are located in Taylors down the street from Paris Elementary School and Sevier Middle School.

Our schedule on Sundays:

  • 10:00am Sunday School
  • 11:00am Bilingual Worship Service*

*Our worship service is for all ages.  An optional nursery is provided for ages birth-3 years.

FAQs

What is a worship service like at Emmanuel Upstate?
We sing songs, hymns, and psalms in both English and Spanish.  The bulletin is bilingual.  The sermon itself is monolingual (currently in Spanish one Sunday a month), but we always offer interpretation/translation into the other language via receivers and headphones, which we provide, for anyone who prefers to listen in the other language.

How should I dress?
You are welcome to dress however you prefer! God shows no partiality.
